A car was retrieved while a woman and her three children were saved from flooding in Bellbird Park, Queensland, on February 26 evening. The woman, who was from Goodna, had been recommended for a bravery award after carrying her children, aged five to nine, through waist-deep floodwaters, Brisbane Times reported. At least 90 mm of rain fell in southeast Queensland within an hour, leaving more than a dozen people stranded in their vehicles, according to ABC. Credit: Councillor Paul Tulley via Storyful
