Lee Health makes new push for Estero hospital

Lee Health is renewing its push to build a new hospital in south Lee County. They're submitting a new "certificate of need" with Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration, after a competing company, HCA Healthcare, submitted a CON for a hospital at an undisclosed location. Lee Health had previously submitted a CON for a hospital in the area in 2013, which was denied.
