Rumble - A baby chimpanzee named Limbani and an African mastiff called Bruno have struck up an unlikely friendship at a wildlife sanctuary in Miami. The Zoological Wildlife Foundation Miami has uploaded videos of two of its inhabitants playing together.

Limbani and Bruno are now the best of friends. They spend about two hours with each other every day, when Limbani is not being cared for by the zookeepers. Their friendship began when Bruno was nine weeks old. The chimpanzee was born with a severe case of pneumonia, and his mother virtually handed him over to the caretakers. In this fragile state, while he was being nursed back to health, Limbani met Bruno and Bruno was there to share his extra love. Tiny Limbani reached out and hugged Bruno. They have been inseparable ever since.

Limbani is known for being a prankster and for being quite the socialite. Luckily, Bruno does not putting up with his antics. Probably because Limbani’s favorite thing to do with Bruno is cuddle and show him love.

Limbani and Bruno have won the hearts and minds of people all over the world. The baby chimpanzee has even his own Instagram account opened, with – imagine this – more than 80K followers! This instant Internet popularity has had a flip side as well – many animal rights organizations have plunged the public into the debate of weather true friendship between apes and dogs is even possible.
