One Killed in Overnight Shooting

Police are investigating a shooting that lead to the death of one person, Friday night. Officers responded to the shooting at approximately 11:59 p.m. at 2835 Central Avenue. Upon arriving to the apartment complex, officers located the victim, later identified as Brian Cannady, suffering from a gun shot wound. Lee County EMS personnel rendered aid to Brian but he died as a result of the shooting, FMPDsaid.
