These elk have been feeding on prime agricultural land slated for a solar power plant near Blackie, Alberta. The AEPA (Alberta Environment and Protected Areas) does not require wildlife studies for ungulates (deer, moose, elk, antelope, etc.) during renewable energy project applications.
