A woman was shocked when a child street vendor she invited to eat with her was kicked out of Burger King by a security guard for no apparent reason.

The woman, whose username is 'Pierina Guinetti Siches' had invited the young boy to eat with her after she saw him at the fence of a Burger King restaurant watching other children eat and have fun.

The boy, who asked to be called Gett, sells sweets on the streets of the Santiago de Surco district of Lima, the capital of Peru.

Siches felt sorry for the boy and offered to buy him a meal at the fast-food restaurant.

She left the boy with her bag and books and went to go order their food.

However, when she returned, Gett was no longer there, although all her belongings were.

She found the boy outside with tears in his eyes, and he told her that the security guard had asked him to leave as "children like me cannot be inside" the restaurant.

Siches took the boy back into the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager as Gett ate.

When she asked a manager why the boy had been asked to leave, the manager replied that the boy’s presence could bother other customers.

Siches posted online a video of her encounter with the manager, as well as photos of the young boy looking through the fence of the restaurant and then enjoying his meal.

Her post was shared over 6,000 times by other users.

Burger King have not commented on the situation.
