Tropical Cyclone Gita Wrecks Buildings in Nuku'alofa

Tropical Cyclone Gita hit Tonga on February 12, wreaking havoc in the Polynesian kingdom. Buildings in the capital of Nuku’alofa, including Parliament House, were particularly badly hit, according to news reports. This video filmed from a car passing through Nuku’alofa shows the devastation caused by the cyclone in the capital. Damaged buildings can be seen as the car passes along the road.
