Gas is a little more affordable this week in the state.

Triple-A Michigan says the average price is down five-cents a gallon in the past week to three-dollars-21-cents, which is 17-cents higher than last month and six-cents less than last year. A 15-gallon fill up costs on average 48-dollars, down ten-dollars from last year's high mark in August. The highest price in Michigan is three-dollars-25-cents in Jackson, while Traverse City has the lowest price at three-dollars-12-cents.
