Tom Cruise filmed a scene in London on Sunday for his new film Mission: Impossible 6 - Fallout. Cruise was spotted standing on top of the Tate Modern with helicopters circling and stunt coordinators in place.

The star, known for doing all of his stunts, braved the winds on February 11, while shooting a rather hazardous scene on top of the Tate Modern’s 99-meter (324 feet) chimney, for the sixth Mission: Impossible film. The latest installment will also feature stars like Vanessa Kirby, Rebecca Ferguson and Henry Cavill. If you are confused, just remember how weird Superman’s face looked like in the Wonder Woman movie.

In this recording, we see Cruise, in character as Ethan Hunt, climbing on top of the Tate Modern chimney and staring at a helicopter that is circling the building, before running towards it.

Several of London’s landmarks are set to appear in the movie. Traffic was stopped in January across and beneath Blackfriars Bridge so that Ethan Hunt can run across it. Last week he also shot a scene where he leaps off St Paul’s Cathedral

Because he loves doing his stunts so much, filming was delayed in August 2017 when Cruise broke his ankle while attempting to jump between two buildings. He tried to jump from the top of one to the other, but he missed his landing point and hit a wall instead. Crewmembers say he got off back on his feet, but appeared to limp.

All in the name of a good action sequence!
