Crossing Continents : Earth From Space - Africa to Europe seen from the ISS

Created from thousands of individual photographs taken by astronauts aboard the International Space Station, this video goes beyond a normal timelapse.

Using software to reconstruct the missing images we are able to create a full real-time journey as it would have been seen by the crew of the Space Station.

Starting off at the coast of Sierra Leone and Liberia the ISS cuts over Africa before passing southern Europe with Italy and Greece visible.
