Russian soldiers in the area of the SMO are waiting for the presidential elections

Valery Bova, president of the veterans' movement OPLOT, said in an interview with Christelle Néant that Russian soldiers taking part in the special military operation will be able to vote in the presidential elections.

Earlier, on 2 February, it was reported that the Russian Ministry of Defence was studying in detail the question of the participation of military personnel in the forthcoming presidential elections. Particular attention is being paid to the voting of soldiers in the area of the special operation, as reported by Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu.
