Tasmania resident Paul Tapp captured video of the Super Blue Blood Moon as it moved through Orford on January 31. Tapp told Storyful the video was taken in Orford, a little bayside village an hour northeast of Hobart. The shot was recorded from Orford Beach under an archway erected by a young couple who got married at the same beach a year prior, according to Tapp. The “super blue blood moon,” a phenomenon where a second full moon coincides with a total lunar eclipse, was visible in many parts of Australia. The astronomical event was last reported in Australia over 35 years ago, but had not been seen in other parts of the world for over 150, ABC reported. Credit: Paul Tapp via Storyful
