Rumble A boatshed cafe along the coast of Nelson was slammed by big waves as Cyclone Fehi hit New Zealand’s coastline on Thursday, February 1. Uploader Bonnie Slade recorded this footage at about 10 am, saying residents were urged to evacuate amid fears the boatshed would be “blown away.” New Zealand Herald reported evacuation orders were issued in parts of the country as strong winds and rains damaged buildings and toppled trees. A State of Emergency was declared in Dunedin and the Buller District. Credit: Bonnie Slade via Storyful
