Artillery units of the Yug Group of Forces destroy defensive structures and control points of the AFU, and neutralise artillery batteries, military infrastructure and hardware of the enemy.

Target reconnaissance and spotting is provided by unmanned aerial vehicles. Coordinated teams of 203mm Malka artillery systems fire high-explosive fragmentation shells from their firing positions at ranges of up to 40 kilometres.
