Residents of Kodiak, Alaska, were forced to evacuate in the early hours of January 23 after a tsunami warning was issued by the US National Tsunami Warning Centre. Nathaniel Moore said he was on a 100-foot fishing vessel in Kodiak when the sirens were first sounded. A second video, following his evacuation from the ship, shows lenghty tailbacks as other residents departed the town. Credit: Nathaniel Moore via Storyful
