Storm Shield Forecast morning update 1/22/18

It's a clear and cold start to the day with some high, thin clouds moving through this afternoon as a cold front to our north falls apart. As a result of getting several hours in the sunshine we will be a few degrees warmer than we were this weekend. Expect highs in the low 60s in the valley today with moderate air quality. There is no wood burning allowed unless you have a registered device. The Kern River Valley will be in the mid-50s this afternoon with the south mountains spending several hours getting out of the 20s they saw overnight to get to the 40s this afternoon. Expect tomorrow to be much of the same.
