A clean-up operation began at the Muddiford Inn in Devon on January 22, after heavy rainfall caused extensive flooding in the region and caused the grounds around the inn to become waterlogged by a nearby stream. According to emergency services who were called to the inn, about a foot of floodwater had built up inside the grounds. The pub remained open for business on Sunday afternoon and evening after emergency services helped relieve the flooding. Credit: Muddiford Inn via Storyful
