The hills in the commuter town of Bathgate in central Scotland have been turned into ski slopes by the recent spell of snowy weather. Ian Murdoch tweeted a video of himself on January 21, showing him suited, booted, and going down a gentle slope on skis. He said: “Skiing right outside my house this afternoon #BathgateAlps.” With temperatures set to rise over the coming week, Murdoch won’t be enjoying the “Bathgate Alps” for much longer.
