Authorities across the Pacific North West have issued warnings to avoid the seashore with up to 30 foot waves possible on Thursday and Friday. Coast Guard officials in Oregon called off the search for one man who was swept into Depoe Bay while homes and businesses in Lincoln City were flooded by seawater. Further north storm watchers were treated to a spectacular show in Ucluelet on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, as seen in this video from Tourism Ucluelet. Surf tracking website Magicseaweed reported 22 foot waves were recorded at one surfing break near Ucluelet on Thursday. Credit: Facebook/Tourism Ucluelet via Storyful
