A number of Alberta residents reported seeing a large fireball in the sky over northern parts of the province on January 17, CBC reported. The Edmonton Journal said that experts believed the flash was caused by a meteor breaking up in the sky, and called on anyone with footage to come forward. This dashcam footage was recorded in the Fort Saskatchewan area at 5.21 pm. Credit: Facebook/Corbet Kratko via Storyful
