Bill to allow grocery, convenience stores to sell cold beer fails in Senate

No expansion of sales of cold beer in this session of the Indiana legislature. A Senate panel voted the measure down by a vote of 9-1. It would have allowed the sales of cold beer at gas stations and convenience stores.
