Whole Saudi families attended a football match for the first time between two Saudi teams at the King Abdallah stadium in Jedda on January 12. In this footage, three children walk to the stadium flying a flag with the colors of al-Ahli, one of the teams. The footage was taken by a woman who was also in attendance at the match, marking the first time that women and girls have been allowed to attend. The footage also includes a SnapChat filter with two female sports fans facing each other. In a decision taken in the fall of 2017, women and families will be allowed to attend football matches in three cities, the others being Riyadh and Dammam, according to Saudi news reports.
