We all may love our furbabies to bits, but the way the maneuver their way in life is just stunning. The little tyrants know you better than you know them, so the saying "honest as a cat when the meat's out of reach" is well justified. Cats will not steal if they are likely to be caught. The adorable furballs always sound hungry, and tired, and bored, but you know they are sneaky little thieves.

Felines might purr and beg for a scratch behind their ears, but as soon as you turn your back, they're back to their scheming. In all honesty, cat owners should be careful when leaving food out in the open. It might be on a high level, but cats can jump anywhere. Not to mention that, even though they love the delicious kibble you serve them twice a day, that will not stop them from trying to hunt down their snack. Even if that is a bun on your desk.

There are several kinds of cat thieves that have been caught red-pawed in the act of stealing a tasty morsel. There are cats that steal cookies, smoked fish, milk, balloons, sausages, even pens. There are cats that steal from kids, disguised and not showing a grain of remorse for their actions. There are cat burglars and there are determined kittens. You name it.

The cat in this video is trying to be extremely sneaky when attempting to steal a bread roll from behind her owner’s laptop. As soon as the human leaves his bread on the table, a paw appears from behind the laptop and begins pulling the paper with a piece of bread. Obviously this feline thief thinks that he can go unnoticed. But then the owner pulls the paper back, so the kitten is left empty handed. That’s when the "fight" starts. "I want your breakfast. Gimmee…"

As it seems, none of them is going to back down. At the end, the little thief decides that he has met his defeat. "Fine, I’ll just eat napkin."
