Snow fell across Tallahassee, Florida, on Wednesday, January 3, as a strong nor’easter started its movement north up the East Coast. Sleet and freezing rain also fell across the region, triggering road closures because of icy conditions, a news report said. Snow is rare in northern Florida, with the last measurable amount recorded in December 1989. Area residents can be seen in this video celebrating the snowfall.
