Communities along Lake Ontario in New York state were issued with a new lake effect snow warning on Tuesday, December 2. as the US cold snap continued to bite. This video shared on Instagram by onlooker Anneke Darling shows gentle waves breaking onto the bank near the State University of New York’s student residence Scales Hall. Darling, the university’s residence hall director for Oswego, captioned the clip: “Hate how it feels; love how it looks.” Meteorologists issued a lake effect snow warning for Oswego county on Tuesday, according to WWNY-TV. Up to two inches of snow per hour were forecast to fall in the region, the news channel reported.
