Fire Tears Through Three-Story Brooklyn Apartment

A three-alarm fire burned through three apartments in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn on Tuesday, January 2. The blaze started at around 9:15 pm inside of a three-story building and later spread to two neighboring blocks, ABC reported. Firefighters had largely knocked down the flames by 11 pm. Three firefighters and one police officer were being treated for injuries.
