People stuck in floods got creative and used small boats to travel through Tacloban, the Philippines, on Tuesday, January 2, following Tropical Depression Bolaven. The uploader of these videos told local news site Rappler the waist-deep waters left him and his family stranded for over two hours hours. The storm, known locally as “Agaton,” caused at least two deaths and forced thousands of people to flee to higher ground, The Weather Channel reported. It was the third tropical storm, following Tropical Storm Vinta and Tropical Storm Kai-tak, to hit the islands in a month. Credit: Facebook/Kaugop Larry via Storyful
