Severe flooding in the Irish coastal city of Galway wasn’t enough to deter locals from drinking at a nearby pub as Storm Eleanor made landfall on January 2. Up to 55,000 customers in the west and north west of Ireland are without power due to Storm Eleanor, according to local media. TV3 reporter Fergal O’Brien‏ shared two clips of locals drinking in the Salt House bar, writing, “Flood water in the Salt House bar in Galway didn’t deter customers from ordering pints #StormEleanor.” Credit: Twitter/FergalOBrienTV3 via Storyful
