The ups and downs of an artist’s life

Artists encounter a lot of frustration at times. Most of us are perfectionists. We want our art to look a certain way, and at times what we see in our heads doesn’t translate to the hand and paper, board, or canvas. It can be daunting! The first instinct is to just give up, but we can’t. We have to improve. We have to go behind the hurdles and hopefully get better and better each day.
