Israeli soldiers clashed with residents of Tuqu, a town located southeast of Bethlehem in the West Bank, on December 22, firing tear gas canisters in order to suppress rock-wielding Palestinian protesters. This footage shows clashes between Israeli soldiers and young men wearing masks both on the outskirts of Tuqu and on the streets of the town. The IDF warned residents of Tuqu against disturbing the security of the area in Arabic flyers posted around the town on December 22, local media reported. A settlement road passes by Tuqu, where residents were warned not to throw rocks or Molotov cocktails at Israeli settlers or IDF vehicles. Credit: Facebook/Omar Alamor via Storyful
