The Geminid meteors passed over the skies of Akela, New Mexico, on December 14 and were captured on film by photographer Branson Carlton. This timelapse shows an hour of meteor trails, from 4 to 5 am. “The bright two that happens in the bottom center at the clip’s open are my fave (sic),” Carlton wrote on Facebook.
