Towns and cities across the world are brightening their streets with lights, decorating their squares with holly, and hosting all kinds of holiday activities wrapped with Christmas spirit.
However, all the brightly colored decorations in the world can't compete with the holiday charms of Quebec City’s Quartier Petit Champlain. This neighborhood in Canada looks like something straight out of a holiday movie!

Quebec City’s Quartier Petit Champlain is about to close to a bona fide winter wonderland as you will find in North America. The neighborhood has a five-star rating Yelp for its “picture-perfect” streets, “endless shops”, restaurants and surplus of Christmas spirit. The area is flushed with lit trees and carolers making rounds from restaurant to restaurant. There are even nativity scenes in the plazas and a huge advent calendar projection on the side of a church. Santa Claus will hold court in his kingdom at Felix Leclerc park until December 24th, and hand out presents to children.

Visitors report that this is a magical place that looks like 'Whoville' in the Grinch movie! What a compliment, but that is no exaggeration. Take a look at the photos presented in this video and you will sure agree. Along the cobblestone streets, travelers will find pine trees adorned with lights and fresh snow. Garlands drape overhead while carolers in fur coats making rounds from restaurant to restaurant.

If you want to get the most of the holiday spirit, visit the neighborhood on Saturday, December 9, when Family Day takes over the streets. The outdoor holiday celebration includes appearances from Santa and his elves, Christmas crafts, followed by various games and holiday music to make this event even more memorable!
