A snowstorm with blizzard conditions dropped several inches of snow in Minnesota’s Twin Cities area on Monday, December 4. The National Weather Service observed up to eight inches of snow northeast of the cities with lesser amounts in and around Minneapolis and St. Paul. The weather service measured wind gusts up to 58 miles per hour. The snow made for treacherous travel conditions for the morning commute on Tuesday, a news report said. Heavier snow fell in the Dakotas, especially northwest of Fargo, from the same storm system. Credit: Instagram/Lee Kochendorfer via Storyful
