A blizzard hit Fargo, North Dakota, on Monday, December 4, forcing schools to close and causing some flight delays. This video taken on 2nd Avenue South in West Fargo shows cars being covered in a blanket of snow as high winds were heard blustering through the city. The blizzard caused delays and cancellations to flights at Hector International Airport, the West Fargo Pioneer reported. At least nine road accidents were reported on Monday afternoon to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, according to the newspaper. Schools in West Fargo and Moorhead were forced to close early because of the blizzard, WDay6 reported. Much of the eastern part of the state, as well as central and eastern South Dakota, was under a winter winter weather advisory or winter storm watch on Monday.
