A blizzard dumped snow and whipped winds in the Dakotas and Minnesota on Monday, December 4. The storm caused schools to close early and created dangerous travel conditions, a news report said. In Thief River Falls, Minnesota, where this video was taken, schools closed around noon. Between six and eight inches of snow was expected to fall in the town.
