During counter-battery warfare, crews of Gyacinth-B howitzers strike at Ukrainian Armed Forces artillery firing positions, fortified strongholds and long-term enemy firing points remote from the contact line. To destroy concrete shelters, 152 mm high-explosive ammunition is used.

Adjustment of fire and control of hitting targets was carried out by UAV crews. Artillerymen, supporting the actions of the troops, often change the positions from which they fire. However, when entering each new position, special attention is paid to the safety and well-being of personnel. The dugouts are covered with logs in three layers, sheathed with wood and, taking into account the approaching cold weather, with heat-saving materials.
