In desperate need of some workout motivation? Then look no further than this awesome video going viral. Gulf Shores Police Department's K-9 Nitro shows off his stamina with some push-ups before hitting the streets.

The Alabama police dog shown in this video doing push ups with two officers is a big hit on the internet, but it also serves as a public safety reminder. Nitro is a 2-year-old Dutch Shepherd who joined the Gulf Shores Police Department’s canine unit in February. In this clip, covered perfectly by the classic “Eye Of The Tiger", the handsome dog reminds of someone famous who did a similar push up routine and inspired fitspos everywhere!

Gulf Shores police Cpl. Josh Coleman said the seven-second video is part of a social media trend — #9PMRoutine — began by the Pasco County Sheriff’s Department in Florida. Coleman said the 9 p.m. routine is one way law enforcement agencies are reminding people to remove valuables from cars and lock up at the end of the day.

“K9 Nitro, Officer Cowan and Officer Hancock are getting warmed up and ready to apprehend any bad guys that break the law," the police department writes on Facebook.
