Hilarious Footage Shows Randy Tortoises Interrupt Leopard Mid Hunt
A saying that goes “don’t touch the sleeping lion" could easily be transcribed to say “don’t touch the hunting leopard", but it would seem that these two randy tortoises felt a great urge to provoke the big cat mid hunt! It must be some sort of aphrodisiac or something.
A tourist by the name of Matthew Poole was filming the patient predator stalking its next meal on the Sand River bank at Beyond Kirkmans Kamp in South Africa on November 3, when his shot was invaded by the two lovers. While the leopard tries to focus on his prey in the distance, the leopard tortoises rush towards her and start getting intimate, forcing the cat to get out of her hiding spot.
Obviously undisturbed by their big cat neighbour, the randy reptiles carry on until the leopard finally runs off and they are left to carry on their lovemaking. It would seem that the sense of danger makes these two hot!
Matthew, from Limpopo, South Africa, said: “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. We were watching the leopard stalking something in the dense thicket when the tortoises appeared. Nobody on the tour could control their laughter."
Matthew managed to keep everyone on his tour quiet so that the leopard can continue her hunt, but those two were not having it. After having to endure some five minutes of their lovemaking, the cat decided she has had enough of this and ran off.
