Vehicles Drive Through Flooded Roads in Lancashire

Heavy flooding hit parts of Britain on the night of November 22, with parts of Wales and England affected. The Met Office issued yellow warnings for snowfall in Scotland on November 23. In Lancashire more than 4cm of rain fell in 24 hours, and in Cumbria 9cm of rain fell in 36 hours. More than 70 people and 20 horses had to be rescued from floods in Lancashire. The county’s emergency services took 400 calls, attended 100 incidents and rescued 70 people, 20 horses, a cat and a dog overnight. This video shows vehicles driving through floodwater in Lancashire.
