Survivors and relatives of those killed in the Srebrenica massacre watched as the United Nations’ International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia sentenced former Bosnian Serb commander Ratko Mladic to life imprisonment on November 22. Mladic, who faced 11 charges, was convicted of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity, including the massacre of more than 7,000 men and boys at Srebrenica in 1995. The 74-year-old was removed from the Hague court after he shouted at judges reading their verdict. This video shows survivors and members of the Mothers of Srebrenica activist group watching a live stream of the proceedings at the Srebrenica Genocide Memorial in Potocari, and reacting to the verdict.
