A little boy in Texas born without limbs continues to defy his diagnosis by learning how to walk. Watch this heartwarming video of four-year-old Camden, born with Amelia-phocomelia syndrome, a congenital disorder that has left him with shortened arms and almost no legs, learns to walk for the first time!

The Whiddon family was decorating the Christmas tree at their home in Denton, Texas, when Camden’s father, Cole, decided to teach this toddler to walk. Camden was nervous at first, so his dad puts both of his hands in front of him and shows him how to move one hip at a time. Slowly, Camden wiggled his way over, seemingly amazed at what he was doing, squealing “I’m walking!” The entire family was overcome with pride!

Camden never let his disabilities stop him from doing regular kids stuff, such as drawing and playing with toys. Phocomelia is a congenital disorder that involves the malformation of limbs, while amelia is a birth defect in which a baby is born missing one or more limbs.

Camden’s mother Katie Whiddon, captured the moment as Camden’s father, Cole, set their son down and persuaded him to walk to him. Katie says she was overcome with pride watching her boy and broke down in tears afterwards. Capturing this special milestone on camera has been a great blessing because the Whiddon’s wanted to show the world how capable their little boy is and that nothing can stop him!
