Rumble This Australian woman was horrified the moment she realizing that a giant spider had hitched a ride with her on November 17, clinging to the visor above the driver’s seat for over 20 minutes. Bianca Merrick, who lives in Coffs Harbour on the north coast of New South Wales, said that she was driving home from work when she noticed the eight-legged passenger just hanging there.

She wasn’t expecting to have a company and was surprised when she spotted the hairy, eight legged monster out the corner of her eye as it started crawling across her sun visor. However, rather than pulling over and promptly squishing or swatting it out of the vehicle like a proper panicked arachnophobe, Merrick decided to sit tight and finish out the commute. She considered stopping but she didn’t know how to get it out of the car, so she thought that the best option was to keep driving and pretend it wasn’t there. Those were the longest 20 minutes of my life, Merrick explains.

When she got home she slowly got out of the car, locked the door, went to sleep and pretended that it never happened. Amazingly, she didn’t burn the car! However, when she checked the car the next day, armed with bug spray and a broom, there was no spider to be found. Creepy! How did the giant spider just disappear? Maybe it is still hiding in its special place, waiting for revenge!
