This sneaky little sea lion was very courageous when he decided to have a close encounter with humans. This cute guy was very brave as he approached and climbed on a speed boat. This hungry sea lion decided to befriend humans and beg for some fish. Luckily for him, his close and personal encounter with the new friends ended up better than he expected.

Sea lions are sea mammals characterized by external ear flaps, ability to walk on all fours, and short, thick hair, big chest and belly. Their range extends from the subarctic to tropical waters of the global ocean in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, with the notable exception of the northern Atlantic Ocean. They have an average lifespan of 20–30 years. Sea lions consume large quantities of food at a time and are known to eat about 5–8% of their body weight, which is about 15–35 lb at a single feeding.

This animal, weighing hundreds of pounds, somehow managed to climb on the speed boat, standing to the boat's side and politely begging for some food. Luckily, these humans had his favorite treat, some fresh fish!

Sea lions, typically seen sunning themselves on the piers or hunting the ocean for fish, aren’t exactly known for their thievery skills or friendly behavior. Surprisingly, this sea lion showed up uninvited and tagged in the boat. He was being all cute and feasted on some fish. Watch how domesticated he looks as he feeds out of human’s hands. He acts like a dog begging for a treat!
