A fire was spotted burning several palm trees along the side of the northbound 101 highway running through downtown Los Angeles on November 20. The fire sparked by the intersection of the 101 and Broadway, near the Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts. ABC7 Eyewitness News called it a brush fire and a tweet from traffic news aggregator Total Traffic LA indicated that the blaze had caused a jam backing up to Vignes St. This clip, shot by a passing motorist, shows the fire burning along the side of the road.
