Windy Weather Churns Up Sea Foam 'Snow' Storm

George Desoto captured footage of what appeared to be a snow storm along the coast of Depoe Bay, Oregon, on November 13 – except that the “snow” was actually foam from the ocean. “I’ve lived on the coast for 25 years,” Desoto told Storyful over email. “I’ve never quite seen this and thought it was amazing.” This video shows the thick wads of foam flying through the air and coating a nearby lawn and porch.
