An effigy of Donald Trump, with arms spread in the shape of a swastika, was burned in Manila during a protest against the US president as he visited the country for the ASEAN summit on November 13. According to reports from PhilStar, at least 1,000 protesters marched along Manila’s Taft Avenue, carrying the effigy, dubbed the “fascist spinner.” Clashes with police broke out along the intersection with Padre Faura Street, as Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte opened the ASEAN Summit at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, GMA News Online said.
