Not A Dry Eye In The Room As Two Sisters Surprise Mom With A Dance At Her Wedding
A from Massachusetts surprised her mom on her wedding day with a special dance she performed with her sister, who is confined to a wheelchair. Angelina, who is 12-years-old performed a dance she choreographed herself and included her 8-year-old sister Aubrey in it, using her wheelchair as a dance prop in the process.
Aubrey is born with spinal muscular atrophy, a rare neuromuscular disorder characterized by loss of motor neurons and progressive muscle wasting. That did not prevent her big sister from dancing with her to a most heart-melting melody, with Aubrey wheelchair decorated for the occasion.
Angelina’s mother, Shellie Lopes Boulanger, said she was not expecting the moment at all. "It was after the mother and son dance, and the DJ said there was still one very special performance to come," Shellie said. “We were all completely blown away by this dance. I had absolutely no idea; they had been practicing it without me knowing."
The whole room felt touched by the moment, the mom said. “Everyone in the room was crying. So many different people came up to me during the wedding and said it was one of the most special things they’d ever witnessed."
The grateful mom says she will forever cherish her daughters’ beautiful moment.
