Macron: No Legitimacy To Israeli Bombing, "Gaza Child Killed Every 10 Minutes, Tanks Near Hospitals"

The medical charity MSF International said attacks on the al-Shifa Hospital have “dramatically intensified” in the last few hours, Al Jazeera reports. “We urgently reiterate our calls to stop the attacks against hospitals and for the protection of medical facilities, medical staff, and patients,” MSF said. MSF also repeated an earlier notice that it was unable to contact its staff at the hospital and that it was “extremely concerned” about their safety. Dr Mohammed Abu Salamiya, Al-Shifa hospital director, said he was hearing "shooting and bombardment everywhere around me in Shifa hospital."
The French president has called on Israel to agree a ceasefire in Gaza, saying that there was “no justification” for bombing civilians in the besieged enclave. In an interview to BBC, Macron said Israel had the right to protect itself, but he added: “These babies, these ladies, these old people are bombed and killed.”
