An Australian family living in Papua New Guinea was travelling from a town outside Port Moresby on Sunday, October 22, when a group of people in another vehicle attempted to corner them in what they believe was a robbery attempt. Dashcam footage published by Roxie Steljic to Facebook shows a silver car verging too close to them on a remote road, and later footage in the same video shows the moment the other vehicle stopped in front of them. As one of the group began to run towards them, Steljic’s husband Vladimir quickly reversed away, dodging another car they believe was part of the same operation. “The group was armed with guns and bats and one of them was wearing a mask,” Roxie Steljic said, adding their caution helped them escape. “My kids were panicking,” she told Storyful. The family reported the incident to police, and shared the video to caution the community, Nine News reported. Credit: Facebook/Roxy Steljic via Storyful

It looks to me you might have saved yours and your family's lives by maneuvering the car the way you did. There are crooks in every form of life. I'm happy you got away from them.
