While on a hunting trip in Oregon, United States, Westin heard the dominant roars of a mountain lion. The sheer power of these roars is clearly audible, but the expression on Westin’s face is peaceful. It would be time to worry when he stops hearing the sounds!

A hunter was recorded sitting on the ground with a gun as he listens to a terrifying roaring of a mountain lion in Oregon. The man is wearing a camouflage top and whispers to the camera: 'mountain lion.' In the background you can hear the petrifying screams of the lion, which lasts for almost an entire minute, but he should really worry when he stops hearing the sounds.

Today mountain lions are primarily found in 14 western states with a small endangered population in Florida, the particular species found there is called the Florida panther. They are critically endangered with a population of less than 100 individuals.

There are roughly 30,000 mountain lions in the western United States overall. Experts say that human interactions with mountain lions are very rare and the risk of an attack is relatively small, however, one can never be too careful with wild animals, you could never know when they might strike.

I remember those roars/screams when I lived in a remote area of Augusta, GA. Being from California, I thought it was a woman screaming. But when the Sheriff wouldn't go beyond the end of my driveway, I knew it had to be something other than a woman.
